Lucia Schiatti (M.Sc. Mechatronic Engineering, Ph.D. Bioengineering and Robotics) is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoc Fellow at the MIT CSAIL Infolab, under the supervision of Boris Katz and Andrei Barbu. She works on the project TIRESIA, funded by the European Commission under the H2020 Program and developed within a collaboration between MIT and the Unit for Visually Impaired People, led by Monica Gori at the Italian Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on the development of novel computational tools for the assessment and rehabilitation of social skills on visually impaired children.
