This tutorial focuses on best coding practices to develop code that is reusable, sharable, and bug free. It highlights issues such as documentation, version control, and unit testing, through hands-on computer exercises.

Eric Denovellis is a postdoctoral researcher in the BU Math & Statistics Department, working with Mark Kramer and Uri Eden. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from BU and is currently developing statistical methods (and code) for electrophysiological data.
