Description:

Baylabs seeks to expand global access to medical imaging with low-cost and safe ultrasound technology for the diagnosis of health conditions such as rheumatic heart disease (RHD). The success of Baylabs’ medical diagnosis system is enabled by the application of deep learning methods, used in the DiCarlo Lab to study object recognition in humans and primates. This technology can distinguish the severity of RHD and has the potential to identify individuals at risk for RHD before they exhibit recurring symptoms.
