KRIS: Hey, Ko.
KOHITIJ KAR: Hey.
KRIS: Teach me something.
KOHITIJ KAR: What can I teach you? All right. Let me tell you a little bit about this project that I'm working on.
KRIS: Uh-huh.
KOHITIJ KAR: So I'm going to show you that perception is just an illusion.
KRIS: Ooh, cool.
KOHITIJ KAR: Nothing you see is real. So let's look at this brain right here. You see the size of this brain?
KRIS: Uh-huh.
KOHITIJ KAR: Let's see it grow as I pull it up. So now compare this to this.
KRIS: Whoa, it shrank.
KOHITIJ KAR: Again, this to this. Right? All right. So this is an illusion called the Ponzo Illusion, and we're working on figuring out what mechanisms in the brain support it.
