KRIS: Hey, Jerry, teach me something.
JERRY NGO: Hi, Kris. How about Vasarely illusion?
KRIS: Yeah.
JERRY NGO: So over here, I have an image of the Vasarely illusion. What could you see in this photo?
KRIS: Are those a bunch of squares stacked on top of each other?
JERRY NGO: Right. But in the corner of each square, the color seems to be lighter than the adjacent color.
KRIS: Oh, yeah!
JERRY NGO: And I have a color picker over here, which is going to show me what the attribute value is. And I will hover over as well. The color actually stay the same.
KRIS: So each square is a solid color.
JERRY NGO: Right. So the diagonal, you see, doesn't actually exist in the physical world, but only in your mind.
